About
Tranquility, vastness & (dis)connection is our luxury.
There’s a certain kind of stillness only the Karoo can offer – soft whispers that travel across veld, riverbeds & mountains.
It’s in this space that you can find our restful escape.
Tucked away in the middle of nowhere, 25km down a gravel road from Matjiesfontein off the N1, Snyderskloof cottage awaits.
For an unbothered, unhurried & entirely off-the-gnd experience.
It’s not only a place to visit but a place to arrive at with all your senses.
Set against the unique landscape of the Karoo, Snyderskloof invites you to slow down. surrender to nature’s rhythms & rise & rest with the sun.
It’s a call to be exactly where you are with nothing more to do than be – whether that’s enjoying our endless views, stargazing from a hammock, taking dips into our pool & outdoor bath or going for strolls, hikes & rides.
